Ingredients
• 1 cup butter, softened
• ¾ cup powdered sugar
• ½ teaspoon Spicy Caribbee Puerto Rican Vanilla
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and flour. Mix slowly until a crumbly dough forms. It may look loose at first, but when pressed together with your hands, it should hold its shape.
3. Gather the dough into a ball and roll it between parchment paper to about ⅓–½ inch thick. Cut into small circles or any desired shape and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, just until the bottoms are barely golden. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a rack to cool completely.
5. Enjoy with loved ones.
